Square block or rough-hewn structures are again a contemporary finish for many façades. Reconstructions and new-builds are also areas for the implementation of this effective technique.

Conventional hand-crafted work using battens and negative mouldings are labour intensive. In addition rework needs be allowed for, which can be on a large scale. But nowadays we need to be able to render square block or rough-hewn finishes quickly and efficiently.

PROTEKTOR has found an excellent solution for this. We developed special profiles for different joint thicknesses and depths. This approach means rapid, accurate craftsman-like work. The results are very presentable and these profiles have also been registered as utility models.

Further processing is then absolutely no problem. On the dried base plaster a textured or finishing plaster is then applied followed by an equalisation paint. A possible alternative is simply painting with façade paint.
