Progress with tradition

The history of the PROTEKTOR company is also the history of a family. It starts in the year 1903 with a small mechanical workshop. Florenz Maisch developed that a few years later into a successful metalworking factory. By the end of the nineteen-twenties the first plaster profiles using the Protektor name came onto the market. Even back then, the company's mission was to provide the construction industry with innovative and practical solutions. This approach was applied consistently. In 1959 the first plastic façade profiles were produced, a bit later some modern solutions for dry lining. In 1985 a valuable addition was made to the PROTEKTOR product range with INEFA roof drainage products.

A profile which stands out

Tenacity and entrepreneurship led the family company safely through not just the destruction of the war and production restrictions, but also towards success. The product range currently includes more than 600 plaster and 230 façade profiles as well as around 700 products for dry lining. Add to that the plastic guttering and concrete and screed joint profiles.

PROTEKTOR is today one of the leading construction profile manufacturers in Europe. Our own sales offices in different countries keep us closer to our customers, our own supply depots get us to them more quickly.
